GNSS,Global Navigation Satellite System,uses one or several of American GPS,Russian GLONASS,European Galileo and China's BD system to provide navigation and location services.This paper studies the background of GNSS,and introduces the development of the four typical GNSS system.Firstly this paper introduced the four satellite navigation systems,and then introduced the components of GNSS receiver and the location theory,and after these simply introduced the modules such as capture module,tracking module and synchronization module.Based on these,the possibility and advantages of GPS/GLONASS combined application is discussed.And this paper proposes a selecting-star algorithm——An Improved Satellite Selection Algorithm Based On Fuzzy Comprehensive Evaluation Method And The Entropy Method For Determining The Weight Of Evaluation Indicators.Simulation results indicate that the algorithm in this paper has almost the same performance as the previous algorithm,but less time-consuming and better position accuracy.
