The research of new wireless technologies and the increasing of communication demand results in the rapid development of wireless communication.After the third generation mobile communication(3G),with higher transmission rate and larger capacity the long-term evolution(LTE)has been studied and tested for a long time and has been in the stage of large-scale use at home and abroad currently.In order to meet new requirements and improve the performance,guaranteeing the system reliability is the prerequisite,while the reliability depends on the accuracy of channel estimation.The new technologies make channel estimation more complicated,therefore,the optimizing of channel estimation is the key to promote LTE system property.Firstly,the physical layer principle and channel estimation procedure of LTE are introduced in this paper.After detailed analysis several estimation algorithms and interpolation methods are simulated in combination with actual pilot distribution in uplink and downlink of LTE.In addition,the condition that the actual wireless data in downlink as the information to be processed is a comparison.The results show that practical is not in conformity with theory.Many specific problems need to be considered.Finally,the LS channel estimation algorithm and the first-order linear interpolation are realized on the platform of TMS320C6670 DSP from TI for LTE downlink data,the result of comparing the BER of DSP realization and matlab simulation verifies the engineering feasibility and the super performance of TMS320C6670 DSP.The DSP implementation scheme is also provided in the end.
