Research And Implementation Of FDD-LTE System Channel Estimation Based On Pilot

With the advance of wireless communication technology and the popularization and application of 3GPP Long Term Evolution, channel estimation as a key technology of system receiver earns widespread respect. Channel estimation can help wireless communication system decrease the bit error rate and improve the transmission reliability.The research of channel estimation in this paper is to provide single-base-station multi-user bidirectional video transmission system based on FDD-LTE with the FPGA implementation scheme of channel estimation. This paper simulates the channel estimation algorithms and interpolation estimation algorithm in MATLAB, and finally selects appropriate algorithms to implement and optimize on FPGA.This paper first researches the architecture and sepciafication of FDD-LTE system, including frame structure, resourse grid, multi-access mode and MIMO diversity technique; and then researches the channel estimation based on pilot, including estimation algorithms used in pilot position channel estimation and interpolation algorithms used in data position channel estimation. This paper designs and implements the channel estimation modules in system uplink and downlink, and provides port connection lists. The subcarriers mapping and demaping modules are optimized to improve the efficiency of transmission in this paper, and the DFT IP core is simulated to decrease the peak-to-average ratio of system uplink. Finally some tests are taken in simple and fixed emvironment to check the performance of channel estimation module. According to the result, the channel estimation module designed and implemented in this paper consumes less hardware resource, and its clock performance meets the requirement of the system. The system adding channel estimation module can conduct data transmission accurately, and video transmitted by the system is clear and stable.
