In recent years,many LCD manufacturers blindly pursue wide viewing angle large screen display,although the big screen display to bring consumers not the same visual experience,but they ignored some specific occasions on the LCD screen special requirements.Such as the cockpit of the aircraft or the LCD panel on the spacecraft,if the viewing angle is too large,the light emitted by the LCD screen is reflected in all directions by the surrounding instrument panel,which will interfere with the pilots' sight,especially when driving at night The interference caused by the sight of the pilot is very dangerous.In addition,such as airports,banks and other public occasions,the user information is not want to be leaked and peeping,the user only hope that in their own perspective can see the screen content.In these special circumstances,you need a small viewing angle LCD screen.Can be achieved by 3M's anti-glare film to achieve the effect of reducing the viewing angle of the LCD screen,but its high cost,followed by the brightness of the display screen,and not meet the requirements of national military standards,so urgent need to study special occasions,small viewing angle LCD Screen and the corresponding backlight module.This paper presents two ways to reduce the light angle of the LCD backlight module,one is to use angle control LED light source module and light guide plate module;angle control light guide plate module using two light guide plate,in the light guide plate on the outer surface of the A prism array is arranged on the outer surface of the other light guide plate and is affixed to the inner surface thereof.The LED light source module comprises an LED,a diffusion plate and a lower diffusion sheet.Another method is to use Fresnel lens condenser to achieve a small viewing angle LCD display.Through the combination of software simulation and experiment,it is proved that the scheme of this paper is feasible,so that the angle of the LCD screen is controlled at about 40 degrees in the horizontal direction and 45 degrees in the vertical plane.The designed backlight module can effectively reduce the angle,To meet the requirements of aircraft cockpit and anti-glare display.
