Research On Science And Technology Linkage Based On Cross Citation Analysis Of Papers And Patents

In the current context of innovation-driven development strategy, science and technology jointly promote the development of the industry, is not a simple linear relationship, Exploring the relationship of science and technology for playing a better role in industrial development, it is particularly important. In recent years, a large number of scholars have studied the relation between science and technology from the perspective of citation analysis. Based on the patent cited non-patent citation,it explores the role of science in promoting technology. This paper use cross citation method as the starting point, mining the linkage between science and technology and provide suggestions of science and technology.After reading and studying the previous researches adequately, this paper expounds the basic theories of patent citation and paper citation and science-technology linkage,and introduces the corresponding indicators. Then we formulate specific implementation plan of the science-technology linkage research. Two authoritative databases: USPTO and WOS are chose as the data sources, the 6o68 patents and 47709 papers of 2005-2016 in monoclonal antibody field are acted as research objects. Secondly, it explores patent citations, introduces the basic situation and the indexes of life cycle, and analyses the papers cited by patents. Thirdly, it explores paper citations, introduces the basic situation and the indexes of life cycle, and analyses the patents cited by papers. Finally, we compare the results from two perspectives, and put forward the corresponding suggestions.The results show that the basic research in the field of monoclonal antibody has a more obvious technical impetus, while technology innovations do less in basic research.The level of basic research and technological innovation distribute unevenly. The countries that have weak abilities in basic researches and technology innovations should strengthen the investment strength on basic researches. On the other hand, the government needs to improve the percent conversion of basic science to technology innovation in policy, economy and other ways. A large number of research findings of public research institutions, which should be effectively transformed into the technology invention. Enhance the association between science and technology, which can promote monoclonal antibody field develop better and faster.
