Research On Routing Mechanism For Intermittently Connected Heterogeneous Wireless Network

With the development of the internet and communication technology, the user requirements for the communication network are becoming higher and higher. Traditional single wireless network technology has been unable to meet the growing needs of users.Although the emergence of heterogeneous wireless networks to a certain extent to meet the needs of users, But due to the mobility of the wireless user node, The connection between the user node and the network will break off frequently, and the communication between the nodes and the network can't be processed by simple heterogeneity among different networks, and still can't meet the needs of users.This thesis is based on the study of the heterogeneous convergence of MANET and cellular LTE networks in wireless communication networks, considering the frequent interruptions of nodes in wireless networks,a routing mechanism is proposed to solve the problem of communication between nodes in heterogeneous wireless networks. The routing mechanism proposed in this thesis requires the nodes in the network to create and maintain two table entries,routing table used to find the destination node path, and the link table used to select the next hop relay node when the node connection is interrupted. In intermittently connected heterogeneous wireless network, node using the notification protocol message exchange information with each other, the functional of nodes were expanded by notification protocol message, integration of the various functional modules in the heterogeneous wireless network to achieve communication between the various interconnected networks. The node to establish its own routing table and link table by exchanging notification protocol message, fundamentally, the role of this protocol is to provide a service for the establishment of routing and link tables,overall,the nodes can use the notification protocol message to exchange their own node information, neighbor node information and the meeting node to record the message, then apply these messages to the utility function, and establish their own routing table and link table faster and more comprehensively, it not only realizes the information transmission of nodes which under normal condition In intermittently connected heterogeneous wireless network, but also solves the problem of information transmission between the nodes and the other nodes when the nodes are disconnected.In addition,now taking account the freedom and openness of MANET,The heterogeneous wireless network routing mechanism with intermittent connection is combined with the reputation based node cooperation mechanism to avoid the "non-cooperative node" to participate in the process of information transmission. Through the"watchdog" technology, notification message mechanism, the use of reputation management,so that nodes can choose more in line with the transmission requirements of the next hop relay node, and further improve the data transmission success rate in the network.Finally, we simulate the routing mechanism in the network simulator NS3, and compare the simulation data with Epidemic, spray and wait, PROPHET, direct contact,IRP-PD routing mechanism, shows that the success rate of the routing protocol, network resource consumption, the average delay of network performance is better than the previous several routing mechanisms, showing a good performance.
