Visible light communication,that is based on LED Array and image sensor,is a new way of communication,and it has great potentiality for development of visible light communication technology.After years of rapid development,LED has undergone only to support low-speed communication to support high-speed communication.VLC uses visible light band,that doesn't need government's or the spectrum of resources management department's permission,and it is able to Mitigate the impact of wireless spectrum shortages on the development of the communications industry.In addition,LED also has a long life,strong illumination,low power consumption,high electro-optical conversion efficiency,harmless to humans,better modulation characteristics,and many other advantages,and is recognized as a new generation of green lighting.The sensor s have a large FOV(field of view)and receive multiple signals is the best choice to receive LED arrays signals.It modulates the original signal modulation to the LED array,and the LED blink frequently transferred signals,meanwhile the naked eye can not detect the flashing,in this way,the image sensor synchronously receives signal.In this paper,firstly,we introduct the research about visible light communication based LED Array and image sensor,and the research status of other research groups at home and abroad is compared.The luminescence characteristics of the white LED are explored,and the characteristics of the visible LED communication channel based LED Array and image sensor are analyzed.Then,the characteristics of image sensor receiving is studied carefully,and the receiving method based on image sensor is put forward.For the complex light source environment and the interference between LED array light source,the image sensors are uesd for optical signal reception.At the same time,the LED arrays as the transmitter of multiple-input multiple-output(MIMO)technology,will greatly improve the communication rate.Finally,a new kind of visible light communication system based on LED Array and image sensor is designed.At the same time,the stray li ght of the experimental environment is analyzed and the effect of stray light on the vis ible communication system of the image sensor under different Gaussian coefficients is simulated and experimentally measured.Based on this,two kinds of image processi ng algorithms are used to decode the LED array signals.The n ?n LED light sources are used to emit the n ?n different code streams.The image sensor is used as receiver to receive n ?n signal,and then the image processing algorithm is used to decode the signal of each channel.The experimental system includes LED array transmitter and image sensor receiver and on-off keying modulation(OOK)modulation software design and core image processing and signal decoding algorithm.
