When people intend to design a wireless communication system,effectiveness and reliability are two questions that were faced.Inter-symbol interference is occurred by multi-path effecting and Doppler shift that are the main reason of the time and freque ncy selective fading.The adaptive equalization technology was applied at the historic moment,because the adaptive equalizer has ability to generate characteristic features th at is contrast to the channel,it is used to eliminate the time-varying multipath channe l propagation characteristics of interference.So in modern digital wireless communicati on it has been widely used.This paper mainly introduces the characteristics of the time-varying multipath fadi ng channel,the structure and some algorithms of adaptive equalizer,and realized the adaptive equalizer on the development board of fixed-point DSP TMS320VC5509 A pr oduced by TI company.First this paper introduces the wireless communication channel and their model,presents the model of using the channel of the equivalent discrete ti me.Then this paper elaborates the structure of adaptive equalizer classification and pri nciple about running to work,the adaptive equalization algorithm and its control rules were introduced through the theoretical analysis,and under the environment of MAT LAB software to simulate the actual environment,verified analysis the performance of adaptive equalizer used LMS and RLS algorithm.Then in VC6.0 environment,write program to achieve the matrix class using c + + language,the matrix class has realiz ed the basic operation of the matrix,and write program to achieve the Gaussian white noise and data input matrix that Belize matrix,and finishing these work lays the fou ndation for using DSP to realize the adaptive equalizer.Finally,firstly by establishing the model of adaptive noise cancellation,on the fixed-point DSP TMS320VC5509 A development board simulated and verified the filter part of adaptive equalizer's functio n that were used LMS and RLS the two algorithm,the results meet the ideal require ments.Lastly,achieved the adaptive equalizer used LMS algorithm in the developmentboard,and compared and analyzed experiment results which were in different conditi ons.This system is mainly written by C language,it has very good readability and po rtability,easy maintenance and flexible parameter Settings,so it has very good applica tion prospect.
