In this paper,we study the controller deployment in the software-defined network.The goal is to find the optimal deployment location of the controller for a given network topology of any size.At the same time,the dynamic management of the controller is realized for the dynamic changes of traffic.For the SDN network controller under the optimal location of the deployment of research,not only has a very important theoretical significance,but also has a wide range of practical value.Based on the analysis of the relevant research results in this field,this paper puts forward the deployment method of the optimal position of the controller under SDN network.Firstly,the network topology is divided into domains.For a number of domains,a large network topology is divided into k domains by using the multi-layer k-way partitioning mode.Then,in each domain,according to the weight of the device node and the routing cost in the link to find the optimal location for controller deployment.At the same time,this paper also consider under the premise of SDN controller deployment,due to the dynamic change of network traffic,proposes a flow based dynamic switch migration algorithm,which ensure that the traffic can be migrated to a non overloaded neighbor domain in the case of overload,so that the controller can dynamically manage the network.In this paper,through the open northbound interface,five main modules are defined in the application layer to achieve the controller deployment strategy,each module is:topology analysis module,link planning module,controller deployment module,network state monitoring module and switch migration module.In order to verify the feasibility and effectiveness of the proposed method,this paper uses the Mininet simulation platform to build the topology and load the corresponding module on the Floodlight controller to carry out the simulation experiment.Using Iperf flow tool to simulate the occurrence of traffic,through the two groups of experiments were compared,and the experimental results obtained a more detailed analysis.
