The ferrite circulator is an important component in modern communication systems.Since the 1950s put forward in the engineering and technology,people have produced various types of circulators,widely used in radar,satellite,mobile communication base station.The invention of the waveguide circulator,the communication band successfully extended to the microwave,millimeter wave field,greatly improving the communication bandwidth.In this paper,the transmission characteristics of electromagnetic waves in ferrite are analyzed from the characteristics of ferrite,the working principle of the line circulator is analyzed,and the circulatory conditions of the device are obtained.The structure of the waveguide circulator is analyzed,and an impedance matching mechanism is proposed to extend the bandwidth of the waveguide circulator.The finite element electromagnetic analysis tool Ansys HFSS combined with Maxwell magnetic field analysis tool is used to optimize the performance of the waveguide circulator,which greatly reduces the waveguide Device design cycle.According to the principle of circulator,the general structure of V-waveguide circulator is designed,and the structural parameters are obtained by optimization.In the precision machining of the auxiliary,the success of the V-band circulator,the device has been successfully applied to the customer's ODU system.V-band,E-band waveguide isolators designed with this method have also been successful.For higher frequency devices,its design also has a reference.
