The research of the thesis primarily is the design of X-Band fourport waveguidecirculator, Compared with the tyaditongal waveguide junction circulator, fourportwaveguide differential phase shift circulator has the feature of high power capacity.Highpower is an important development direction of microwave technology,the research forthis kind of devises is a indispensable part of high power microwave technologydevelopment in our country.This paper begins with a brief definition of junction circulator and the designtheory of fourport waveguide differential phase shift circulator.besides it also hasillustrated the advantage of differential phase shift structure.then,it introduces the theoryof main components of fourport waveguide differential phase shift circulator,such as3dB bridge,magic-T and jayrator,through analysis and comprehensive consideration ofthe two common differential phase shift structure,it is finally been decided adopt thecombination of3dB bridge,magic-T and jayrator.Through building the simulator modelof the three main components,then the S-parameters of the physical model of3dBbridge,magic-T and jayrator has been analysed,which are optimized through HighFrequency Structure Simulator. It discusses the model building,structure design andferrite meterial.Meanwhile annalysed the heat dissipation through Thermal analysissimulation software.It combined software analysis with existing cavity process technicresearch and production technolgy level of ferrite meterial,finally developed the sampleof X-Band fourport waveguide circulator and achieved index requirements,also thispaper presents design parameters of these series of products and experimental results.The3dB bridge,magic-T and jayrator of X-Band fourport waveguide circulatorareall mainly used computer collaborative simulation.It is very effective for design byEletromagnetic field simulation software.The key parameters from software analysisaye taken as the basis for machining.It is a good agreement between the measurementand simulation result,which remarkably reduced the leadtime of the product,theefficiency is greatly raisd,and the intensity of labor is decreased.
