With the development of big data and cloud computing, the traffic in the data centers is growing higher and higher, and the network structures are getting more and more complex. As the traditional distributed network architecture can hardly satisfy the current development needs of the data center networks,it has become one of the most concerned issues in this industry to modify the network architecture of the existing data centers and improve the comprehensive performance of the data center network. The SDN architecture provides a new way to solve this problem. In the SDN architecture, the control plane is independent of the data plane. The data plane is only responsible for data forwarding, while the control plane has a global network view, and be responsible for the formulation and distribution of the policies.Compared with the traditional network architecture, the SDN architecture can realize the flexible and efficient traffic scheduling in the data center networks, and its open programming interfaces cannot only simplify the network management for the network administrators but also cut down the cost significantly. This paper focuses on the problems of traffic scheduling technology for the data center network under the SDN architecture.First of all,we proposed a load balancing scheme based on the server response time to resolve the unbalanced traffic load at the server side of an individual data center network. We used the SDN controller to obtain the real-time response time of each server in the data center, and then the server with less response time or the most stable server in the data center network is selected to serve the users. The servers with less response time or better stability are those with less load or more stable load.In this way,the traffic in the data centers can be shunted and the server traffic load can be balanced so as to reduce the waiting time of users. Then, for the low link utilization among the multiple data centers, the flexibility of the SDN architecture is adopted to hierarchize the traffic in the data centers. The traffic among the data centers is classified into different types.Different strategies are adopted against the real-time link traffic. The dynamic route scheduling can make full use of the network resources. In addition,by using the flow congestion control mechanism, the prolonged occupation of the bandwidth by some flows can be avoided while the flows are queued up in the multilevel feedback queues,so as to rationally utilize the bandwidth resources. Finally, the MDSC model is proposed to solve the limitations of the SDN architecture used in the traffic scheduling among the multiple data centers.SDN controllers require a logical global view to schedule the traffic in a fine-grained and efficient manner. If the multiple data centers do not belong to the same economy or administrator, each controller has only a partial view. Therefore, the QoS routing among multiple data center networks is impossible. To solve this problem,we proposed the MDSC model based on the Secure Multi-party Computation Protocols. While keeping the privacy of each controller, the path computation of QoS flow can also be realized.Compared with the existing schemes, the privacy of each autonomous system can be better protected during the path computation of QoS flow.
