With the development of economic construction and the advance of the industrialization process,the power devices are constantly upgrading.During this process,more and more new equipment is used,and relay protection is very important in ensuring the safe and stable operation of the power system.Due to the replacement of protective devices,create a high demand for relay protection practitioners.Meanwhile,Electricity enterprises and related training institutions are also paying more and more attention to the technical training of power system employees.to strengthen the technical training of relay protection staff,improve the ability to operate and maintain relay protection devices.In the training of power systems,computer simulation as a new technology has been widely used in teaching and training process.However,the simulation training software for relay protection is relatively few,and most of them are biased towards the simulation of protection actions,lacking of interaction with the students,which is not very satisfactory.Under such circumstances,this paper proposes and develops a simulation system for power system protection and control based on HTML5 standard.The system adopts graphical modeling method,using the latest Canvas rendering technology to achieve a non-plug-in component simulation,to build and edit a main wiring diagram of power grid,which allows trainees to setup protection or apply faults.This system is designed based on protection principles.The relay protection device the functional components into a variety of different models of components,trainees can be freely configured with different combinations of principles.The system uses fault simulation data as the data source,when the system is running,the powertest send real-time sampling to the network,and the system crawl the real-time signal in the network through through winpcap and extract the useful data used in the virtual protection module,the virtual protection module will display the test results so that the student can clearly observe the logical dynamic process of the control loop and the protection process.Protection and control training simulation system simulates the operation and process of the actual relay protection device,interacts with the trainees through the graphical user interface.The system is suitable for the teaching process in electric system training organization,providing the learners with a means of in-depth understanding relay protection device work process.
