With the development of modern science and technology,radar is used more and more widely,and its role is becoming more and more important.In modern war,radar is not only an important weapon to get the information of the battlefield,but also can control the firepower unit to strike the target accurately.However,in the complex electronic environment,radar is facing various kinds of interference from nature and human.The existence of interference makes the performance of radar detection target decline or even lose.Therefore,how to restrain the interference and improve the ability of radar target detection is a current and future problem that must be faced with radar.In this paper,we mainly study the clutter interference and its suppression method of ground radar.Radar clutter is the echo signal generated by the reflection or scattering of the non-target reflected sources.The existence of radar clutter makes the radar working in a poor environment,and the ground-to-air search is affected,strong clutter can even submerge the target signals.To suppress clutter effectively will improve the radar performance and improve the survivability of radar in battlefield.This paper first introduces the common types of clutter in the ground radar,analyzes the characteristics of the clutter,summarizes the causes of formation and the influencing factors,and derives the common radar clutter echo signal in the ground radar.The traditional radar clutter suppression methods are compared on the basis of analysis.In order to reduce the influence of radar detection in the "blind speed",according to the sliding stagger filter is applied to the design of staggered filtering theory in clutter suppression.On the basis of the above,this paper puts forward the optimal design of stagger codes for sliding stagger filters based on particle swarm optimization algorithm.By using the advantage of the particle swarm optimization,we can achieve the rapid and effective optimization,improve the "blind speed",effectively reduce the impact of single clutter and multi-clutter,and also reduce the maximum loss of target signal.This study can be applied to the specific environment parameters adjustment,and give the work a certain guiding significance.
