With the rapid development of emerging technologies,the application research based on software radio technology has gradually become the research focus of scientific research institutions and universities at home and abroad.In the field of electronic & communications,signal generator is one of the most common instrument,but the ordinary signal generator only has signal generation function,and full-featured vector signal generator is expensive,bulky.Therefore,it generates a signal with some external environment parameters by software radio technology,so it is of great significance to build an actual testing scenario.The aim of this dissertation is to research a generation platform of ubiquitous radio signal,analyze the general design about ubiquitous signal,and then achieve the design goal by optimizing the following two aspects.Firstly,the realization ways of this dissertation by the independent hardware circuit into a combination of hardware and software.That is,we can establish a universal modulation model on the Personal Computer(PC),generate baseband modulation signal,and transfer data to the Field Programmable Gate Array(FPGA)for subsequent digital processing via the Peripheral Component Interconnect Express(PCI Express)link interface.Secondly,this dissertation improves the universal modulation model by adding the noise,Doppler shift effect and multipath effect in the form of software,so that the platform can simulate a special scene in practical engineering.Among them,the traditional noise source accessory is discarded in the noise model,and directly simulates the noise data via the software.For the Doppler shift model,this dissertation improves the traditional uniform acceleration model,and any velocity Doppler shift model is established according to the velocity or acceleration function.For the multi-path effect model,on the basis of single-carrier signal model,a multi-carrier model is proposed to meet the requirements of complex environmental parameters.In general,the three functional models improved in the dissertation have more advantages than traditional designs,so they can be used for special occasions.In the design process,the MATLAB software and ModelSim software are mainly used to simulate the upper monitor model,the underlying signal processing module and the PCI Express interface.At the same time,the vector data analyzer is used to verify the modulation data.The test results show that the basic modules in this dissertation can work properly.However,due to the wide area and heavy workload,there are still many problems need to be improved in the subsequent work.
