With the gradual reduction of reserves of coal,oil and natural gas,mankind is looking for a new alternative to energy. According to the survey of hydrate resources,natural gas hydrate is a kind of clean energy which has not yet been mined and has great potential. For the exploration of submarine natural gas, marine controllable source electromagnetic method (MCSEM) is the preferred exploration method for seabed natural gas reservoir exploration after marine earthquake, and has been studied in foreign countries, and successfully obtained marine gas hydrate Detection results.Although our research work in this area is carried out later, but in the detection equipment development and data processing and interpretation technology has made some progress.In the process of data acquisition of marine electromagnetic data, noise generated by seawater movement is one of the unavoidable main noise. In order to suppress this kind of noise and improve the accuracy of the processing and interpretation of marine electromagnetic exploration data, this paper introduces the polarization analysis method in the process of ocean electromagnetic data processing. By analyzing the polarization characteristics of marine electromagnetic signals, the measured ocean electromagnetic data is polarized. After the end of the polarization analysis process,by analyzing the data characteristics before and after the treatment,it is shown that the electromagnetic noise produced by the sea water movement has a certain pressing effect by the polarization analysis method.This paper presents a set of marine controllable source electromagnetic data preprocessing method. And through the combination of visual system software technology and data processing methods, developed a set of highly integrated data processing software, to meet the large-scale batch data processing tasks. Which solves the problem that the current marine controllable source electromagnetic data processing software has low efficiency, complicated operation and lack of visual interface. This software development based on Windows platform, the use of MATLAB,C + + and other programming languages for software development. The main functions of the software include: analysis and loading of electromagnetic field data files, electromagnetic fields and navigation data display, electromagnetic field data domain and frequency domain processing, navigation data and frequency domain data merging and MVO, PVO curve generation.In 2016, marine MCSEM tests were carried out in a sea area in China, and marine electromagnetic data of multiple measuring points were obtained. Through the use of the software developed in this paper to deal with the measured data, after a large number of experimental data and test data to verify the effectiveness of the software and processing results of the reliability.
