Orthogonal frequency division multiplexing (OFDM) technology is a multicarriermodulation technique. OFDM technology with its advantages of high spectrumefficiency, anti multipath fading capability and so on, people have paid much attentionto. But because of the structure of OFDM system is very complicated, the early part ofthe twenty-first Century implementation of OFDM is very difficult, so the develementof OFDM is restricted.After entering in twenty-first Century, various kinds of communication technologyhas been rapid development, has brought great convenience for people’s life, at thesame time, people’s demand on communication technology has become more and morestrict,communications equipment from low speed to high speed development. With thedevelopment of DSP microarray technology, industrial production in the use of largescale integrated circuit, this to the development of FFT/IFFT may beprovided, OFDMtechnology has been implemented, has entered a newhistorical period. OFDMtechnology can not only be applied to wirelesscommunication, but also be applied tothe wireless local area network.In recent years, the combination of MIMO technology and OFDM technology hasgradually become a research hotspot, but both the OFDM system and MIMO-OFDMsystem is very sensitive to synchronization error, the system error caused bytheexistence of synchronization, inter symbol interference in the system, and evencauseinter carrier interference, destroy the orthogonality among subcarriers inOFDM system.This paper focuses on the synchronization technology of OFDM system, andthenproposes a new training symbol complementary code used to achieve the symbolsynchronization and frequency compensation of time and frequency synchronizationalgorithm. This algorithm uses the basic theory of the delay and correlation algorithm,through the research of the nature of complementary codes, and analyzestheperformance bounds for this kind of synchronous method of using trainingsymbol, a new training symbol design structure, make full use of thecomplementary codeexcellent self correlation characteristics, improve the symboltiming and frequency compensation precision in delay and correlation algorithm. Thispaper has done a lot ofsimulation, by comparing and analyzing the performanceand various classical algorithm, prove the synchronization algorithm is proposed inthis paper can effectively improve the performance of the timing of OFDM system.
