With the development of computer graphics technology,generating realistic facial animation has become an important research topic in the field of computer graphics.In recent decades,re-searchers have carried out a great deal of research work on this topic,and achieved fruitful result-s.3D facial animation technology which has a strong application value is widely used in movie production,game production,virtual reality,photo editing,video conferencing,online education,human-computer interaction and many other fields,has a strong application value.In industrial applications,such as movie and game production,people usually use some special equipment and perform complex operations and computations,to track facial motions accurately and generate highly realistic facial animations.However,these expensive equipment and time con-suming computations are not practical for ordinary users.In this thesis,we focus on putting the state of art technology into practice.First of all,we conduct a deep research in the facial anima-tion coding and driving technology,and then implement the deformation transfer algorithm,which can generate the expression blendshape model of specific face model automatically,and finally we build an interactive facial animation system,which integrated with the DDE SDK,with DDE,we can map performer's facial animation into virtual character in realtime.The system can meet the animation studio's needs for large-scale production of high-quality facial animation,allowing animators to make higher quality facial animation in a shorter time,and the system is compatible with the mainstream animation software.
