| Hole filling of three dimensional model is the foundation of 3D visualization technology,which has played an important role in the field of digital archaeology,medical image research,criminal investigation and other fields.The existing hole filling methods of the three dimensional model,can not get a good repairing effect on the large-scale irregular three-dimensional model with large number of holes and various types of holes,and the special cultural relic model,such as Terracotta artifacts.Therefore,this thesis focus on hole filling of large-scale irregular curved surface on 3D models,and the research of computer aided cultural relic model repairing methods using digital geometry processing,computer graphics technology.The main work is as follows:First,this thesis proposed a hole filling algorithm based on Poisson equation.To begin with,the Poisson equation was established based on the geometric information of the original model.Then,according to the hole information,the predicted surface was cut and stitched with the original model.This method without spatial segmentation and integration,avoides the mesh self-intersection problem of the traditional algorithm.The experimental results show that the algorithm has a good effect on 3D mesh models with large number of holes and various types of holes,and can keep the original geometric model information,as well as restore the holes region effectively.Second,a self-adaption feature enhancing algorithm based on normal adjusting was proposed in this paper.Above all,the holes repairing regions with marked feature are identified through the average curvature of the curved surface.Then,by defining the neighborhoods with the weighted normal vector,the features of surface are enhanced.Experimental results show that the algorithm not only can optimize the quality of meshes without increasing the number of vertices,but also has better robustness.Especially,it has a good effect on the enhancement of geometric texture feature in 3D models.Third,for the problem of digital modeling in virtual restoration of cultural relic,the HAPE hole repairing algorithm and feature enhancement algorithm are applied to Terracotta artifacts mesh models to repair the holes occurred in scanning process and enhance the marked feature in surface obtaining the complete cultural relic models,which provides the data basis for the next cultural relic researches. |
