Model Driver-Two Degrees of Freedom-PID(MD-TDOF-PID)control is one of effective improvements for traditional PID control in recent years.It owns advantages like simple structure,easily-setting controller parameter and good controlled performance.Controller has excellent practicability,which is expected to obtain great application in industrial process control.Firstly,paper introduces the composition of the MD-TDOF-PID control algorithm and main module of controller.Then controller's controlled performance,controlled object adaptability and the controller parameter setting rules are researched by theoretical analysis and simulation,paper also compares it with the traditional PID controller.Secondly,paper analyzes the reasons why MD-TDOF-PID controller was difficult to put into application in production process.Then improve the structure of the controller to realize non-disturbance shifting from manual mode to automatic mode.The improved controller was non-disturbance shifting from manual mode to automatic mode in all situation,and it also has good control performance.Finally,paper researches the MD-TDOF-PID controller in terms of engineering application.Taking super-heated steam temperature system of Hami Dananhu 2*660MW supercritical unit as controlled object,paper designs MD-TDOF-PID control logic,and configures on EDPF-NT plus type DCS engineering and make simulation experiment by inspired simulator.The result shows that improved MD-TDOF-PID control algorithm is easily applied to the DCS engineering configuration software,and controller can realize non-disturbance shifting from manual mode to automatic mode,and make parameter easier to set.Controller has good control performance for high-order big inertial object like super-heated steam temperature system,which can meet the requirements of coal-fired power plant production process.
