With the rapid development of mobile internet and the popularity of mobile terminal, the requirement of transmission speed became more and more high.In order to increase the speed of wireless local area network, the IEEE 802.11 working group announced the IEEE 802.11 ac standard in 2013.It was the fifth generation of WiFi standard. It used the frequency of 5170~5835MHz,and the maximal bandwidth was160 MHz.It had 4 channel to send and receive data,so the transmission speed can reach to more than 1Gbps.The paper studied, designed and implemented the 4 channel intermediate-frequency circuit of IEEE 802.11 ac.First of all,the thesis analyzed the difference between IEEE 802.11 ac and the standard before it.According to IEEE 802.11 ac standard,it had higher order of modulation, wider bandwidth,MU-MIMO and Beamforming.Secondly, the thesis analyzed the channel number, bandwidth, transmission speed and SNR requirement of IEEE 802.11 ac intermediate-frequency circuit. And according to the requirement of the circuit,it was divided into different function modules. It used FPGA to process high speed data and high performance ADC,DAC,PLL to ensure the performance of the whole circuit. The thesis put forward the design scheme of IEEE 802.11 ac intermediate-frequency circuit.Thirdly, the paper implemented 4 channel intermediate-frequency circuit of IEEE 802.11 ac according to the requirement analysis. The implementation procedure included the chosen of key,the design of schematic and PCB.The circuit can adjust frequency transmission power of the channel, which met the requirement of IEEE 802.11 ac standard. Finally, the paper set up a test platform for 4 channel intermediate-frequency circuit of IEEE 802.11 ac and tested the performance of circuit, then analyzed the problem existing in the design to get some advices of further improvement. The test result showed that the 4 channel intermediate-frequency circuit of IEEE 802.11 ac can meet the requirement of IEEE 802.11 ac standard. The study of this paper has some contribution to the implement of IEEE 802.11 ac.
