ATLAS is one of four experiments on LHC built by CERN which is located in Geneva,Switzerland,the ATLAS Collaboration decides to start the Phase I update in 2018,in order to develop the Muon spectrometer NSW,a new detector system,and to update the trigger subsystem which is the first indemnification of physical analysis.The updated detector will constitute a whole trigger system with the EML detector,which can effectively exclude the false trigger caused by end-cap magnet.USTC plays a role of design and mass production for the sTGC FEBs in the Phase I update.There are a lot of information about FEBs in the process of their design and manufacture,debugging and testing,beam test,actual installation and test on ATLAS NSW.They all have large influence of physical data analysis of ATLAS.The database management system of ATLAS sTGC FEB is just established to store and manage all the important information of FEBs,in order to provide data supply for the future physical data analysis of ATLAS.In addition,other members of the ATLAS Collaboration are establishing their own database management systems,and there are a lot of joint work and common data between them.The database management system of FEBs needs to have the ability to exchange information with the others.From the perspective of development project management of FEBs,this thesis analyses the information that development project management of FEBs refers to,con-sidering the request of data exchange between the ATLAS Collaboration,designs two related and independent databases to store development information and testing infor-mation of FEBs for the purpose of providing data supply and operation service for the future physical data analysis of ATLAS.After the completion of logic design of databas-es,some applications are designed to operate the databases.Tests for the database man-agement system are also done.The database management system has been applied to the actual data storage and management of ATLAS sTGC FEB at present.The primary innovations of the thesis are as follows.1.This thesis creatively designs a database management system to manage the development project of FEBs and provide operation service for the ATLAS NSW ex-periments.2.In the design of the database management system of FEBs,important infor-mation are effectively stored and managed to accomplish the data exchange between the ATLAS Collaboration,which makes the database management system of FEBs an indispensable part of the whole database management system of ATLAS MUON NSW in CERN,supplying for the ATLAS Collaboration.3.In the logic design of the databases,two related and independent databases are designed creatively,using a few closely related tables to store data,which form a clear structure and avoid confusion of data.
