The Synchronization Strategy Research Of Distributed Database Under Network Environment

Longkou information system is formed by three sub systems: finance system, personnel system and operation system of container and bulk cargo. Because of the disperse location and data safety, each system create a database in his own LAN for own use, therefore it come into being a typical heteromorphosis distributed database model. At the same time there is much data interchange among these systems, much common data is saved repeatedly, some data is even the same, it is very important to keep the redundance data in consistent and synchronous update the common data in this information network.This paper provides a discussion on the theory of distributed database, summarize the virtues and flaws of two-phase-commit protocol and replication technology, and then puts forward a synchronous update system model to solve the problems encountered while Longkou Port was realizing the data share among different kind of databases located in different area. This model, based on 2PC and the mainstream database replicate technology at present, can realize data sharing and data consistency among heterogeneous databases by ODBC and TCP/IP technology, and now has been partly implemented. Besides, this paper also discusses the concurrency control of distributed transactions and the method of failure inspect.
