The continuous development of information construction gives rise to an increasing demand of the tailor-made digital certificate management systems,which are playing an increasingly significant role in security protection.Improvement done in a given situation can facilitate the systems for a better service and thereby safeguarding customers 'information.As per the problems described above,a digital certificate management system,which is designed for a maritime environment,is presented in this thesis.This system can provide highly efficient functions for digital certificate management in a maritime environment.Tasks completed in this thesis are as follows:1)The demand of digital certificate management systems is analyzed,of which,it includes the analysis of system function requirements as well as non-functional requirements.Emphasis is placed on the analysis of core functional modules such as registration of certificates,issuing of certificates and distribution of certificates as well as comprehensive management of system.2)The digital certificate management system is designed in detail and realized in this thesis.First of all,a structure is designed for the system and then a data bank is designed and finally focus is put on the design of the major functional modules.The certificate registration management module is mainly adopted to add,amend,delete,inquire and exam the information of application for a certificate;the issuing management module is mainly adopted to create,update,withdraw and issue a certificate;the distribution management module is adopted to import or export a certificate or a list,share a certificate or withdraw a shared list;the comprehensive management module is mainly adopted to manage root certificates and audit daily logs.3)Testing and analysis of the system apply to major functional modules,system performance and system safety.By testing and analysis,it is indicated that this software system can function as expected.After the testing,the system has been optimized to improve its performance.Safety performance test has proved that is has satisfied the need of non-functional requirements.In this thesis,a digital certificate management system is described.It can be used to apply for,issue,update,withdraw and distribute a certificate in a maritime environment,and audit can be done to the operation of a user.
