Micro plates for high-throughput screening are based on experimental tool carrier. Through the whole process automatic control software operates the use of pipetting instrument for micro plate pipetting, the use of high-precision, high-sensitivity detection equipment for detecting and reading experimental data, the use of a PC for data analysis and processing, which are displayed to experimental testing personnel directly and clearly. At present, this kind of instrument has trace, rapid, sensitive and accurate characteristics to high-throughput screening. At the same time, the species of high-throughput screening instrument at home is less, detection accuracy is low, and the level of automation is not high. There is an inevitable requirement in the future that testing instrument should be rapid, efficient and automatic so that the testing data will be accurate.According to the situation mentioned above, this paper presents a multi-mode automatic spectral detection software system. The system is based on sample instrument, grip and multifunction micro plate analyzer control object to control the sample instrument to take suction head, take liquid, sample, incubate vibration, to control grasper shifting to the specified location, to control multifunctional micro plate analyzer selective absorption spectroscopy, fluorescence, chemiluminescence detection of three modes in which a progressive, get access to testing data fast and efficiently, and can analyze the data processing. It provides the necessary equipment and detection method to the high-throughput screening in China and provides technical support to break the foreign monopoly.According to the survey, analysis and the domestic and foreign current research, this thesis is to analyze the needs of software design, functions of the software can be divided into modules, including instrument module, gripper module, Multi-Mode Micro plate analyzer module, parameters configuration module, communication module, data management module and user management module, and make a detailed introduction of the what kind of function each module is supposed to achieve. Then, Automatic multi-mode spectrum detection software system consists of three layers of software architecture design. This design can improve the reusability, expansibility and maintainability of software. It categories class of each layer, using the unified modeling language(UML) to design class which can clearly and detailed show the relationship between each class with each other. It employs the flow chart to detailed describe the process control of each part and the whole. The communication protocol uses existing wrapper DLL method and the Modbus-RTU protocol. Secondly, the design of the database, including the relationship between the entity and the entity SQL Server 2008 database, the relationship between the basic design of the table, the table and the table and the table of basic operations in detail.
