Pattern Synthesis Of Array Antenna Based On Chaos Immune Particle Swarm Optimization

Smart Antenna Engineering is the main development direction in Wireless Communication Technology, and array antenna is the main form of smart antenna technology. The antenna pattern synthesis is a kind of nonlinear optimization problem. In recent years, Intelligent Optimization Algorithms have strong robustness, multi-objective optimization, parallel computing and beyond the differentiability for objective function, therefore, they have come into widespread use in the area of antenna.An improved Chaos Immune Particle Swarm Optimization was presented and it was been used in pattern synthesis of array antenna. The main works are as follows:(1) Combining respective advantages of clone selection algorithm and PSO. Clone copy operator, clone hyperm utation operator and clone selection operator are performed during the evolutionary, Proportion clone copy according to particles affinity can protect eximious individuals and speed up convergence, clone hypermutation provides a new mechanism producing new ones and maintaining diversity, clone selection which selects best individuals can avoid algorithm degenerate effectively.(2) Combining respective advantages of chaos optimal algorithm and PSO. The ergodicity of chaos sequence and the randomicity with different rules of chaos disturbance, and it can ensure the diversity of antibodie and expand the searching area. A hybrid mutation method is presented which combining chaos disturbance and the Gaussian mutation. As a result the searehing efficiency is advanced and the speed of convergence is improved.(3) The proposed chaos immune particle swarm algorithm is used in pattern synthesis of array antenna. Including control pattern wave disc, control pattern sharp and pattern synthesis of reconfigurable antennas, and all they have gain a fine effect.
