Optical fiber sensing technology with its low loss,high sensitivity,anti-electromagnetic interference and other advantages.It has been growing concern by people.It can detect a variety of parameters such as pressure,temperature,vibration and so on by the change of the certain characteristics in the fiber such as phase,loss and so on,which makes it have wide application wide.Based on this feature of the fiber,this paper constructs a system of hybrid fiber optic mechanical and thermal sensing,which can detect the parameters of disturbance,pressure and temperature for multi-points,in the meanwhile,the paper implements the part of the related algorithms and the PC software.1.According to the user requirement and the overall aims of the hybrid fiber optic mechanical and thermal sensing system,we implemented and designed the software system.Using modular thought,every parameter is a module,they are independent of one another.The paper introduced the principle and the demodulation process of every parameter,respectively and experience a lot.2.We introduced the orientation theory of the fiber disturbance subsystem,then,analyzed the factors which impact the positioning accuracy.After proposing an endpoint detection method based on modified short-term energy and zero-crossing rate,which can calculate the start point of the disturbance signal precisely we used the signal started at the endpoint to determine the position,the accurary of the position has been improved a lot.3.Aiming at the several key technologies,we proposed some rationable solutions : using multi-thread mechanism to design the software system,using TCP/IP protocol to transfer data,using Teechart ActiveX controls display data in real-time display,using MySQL database to management the data,the efficiency of the system will be improved effectively.4.In the basis of Visual C # programming language,we completed the humancomputer interface design and the demodulation algorithm,and implemented all the functions of the system.Based on a large number of experiments,we ensured the stability of the system by modifying BUGs constantly.
