Two major challenges of optical sensor network are capacity and reliability.The capacity of network can be expanded by several times through utilizing various types of multiplexing techniques and multi-topology structures.Optical sensor network requires real-time transmission and data accuracy.With the expansion of capacity,the network appears to increase the risk of failure.After failure,the network can automatically restore and maintain uninterrupted business,which means the ability of network robustness,is a major indicator of network reliability.The article aims to build an intelligent fiber-optic sensor network platform.When there is failure in the network,the system can automatically identify and locate the failure,and achieve self-healing function by switching to spare channel.The system shows a multiple access,multi-sensor fusion,scalable and reliable network model,achieving a real-time,fast,reliable,intelligent and practical fiber-optic sensor network system.The article main contents include:1.Considering the existing deficiencies in reliability and various sensor fusion of network architecture at home and abroad,we propose a hybrid optical sensor network with high capacity and reliability,and can accommodate different types of optical sensors.Analyze commonly used optical sensor network topology and their robustness.Select a relatively high reliable topology,ring topology as backbone layer structure of network.2.Propose the main frame design of ring-topology intelligent optical sensor network.Analyze system reliability through calculation and simulation.Mixed spectral multiplexing technology is used to effectively expand the network capacity.3.For the proposed optical sensor network frame,we design and build the backbone hardware platform of double-ring intelligent sensor network.Through the design and optimization of photoelectric conversion circuits,we establish the multi-machine communication between the master and slave steadily.On this basis,using optical switch connection and communication protocol to achieve failure recognition and channel switching,thus realize self-healing function of network.4.On the 8051 platform,debug system communication program to realize network intelligent functions,such as self-diagnosis,self-healing,self-test and alarm.Simulate the scenarios of failure,and detect the success rate of system self-healing.Propose the fusion scheme for distributed and discrete sensors working in the same network.
