Wireless sensor network(Sensor Network Wireless,WSN)is an information monitoring network.It often used to collect process and transmit information.Because of its ability of information transmission and computation,the traditional WSN has been unable to meet the requirement of more and more applications.It often leads to the problem of information redundancy and energy consume quickly and so on.Therefore,it is necessary to optimize the performance of the network,so as to speed up the speed of information processing and improve the network throughput.The cross layer optimization technology is the use of integration protocol stack,the protocol stack is relatively independent of the layer as a whole,realize information sharing,accelerate the speed of information processing,to avoid network congestion,prolong the network life cycle,is one of the core technologies to improve the performance of WSN.The MAC(Media Access Control)layer and the network layer in the WSN are mainly used for conflict detection,channel resource allocation,path selection and information transmission,but their energy consumption is large.So this paper starts from the MAC layer and network layer,focusing on the research for cross layer optimization technology of the two layers.Designed a cross layer optimization algorithm based on power control PCSC(Power Channel Stable Clustering).Achieve the purpose of avoiding network congestion and saving network energy.The main results are as follows:Firstly,because the MAC layer and the network layer in the traditional WSN layer structure are relatively independent,cannot realize resource sharing and so on,it is easy to cause the low throughput,and calculate the redundancy to consume too much energy and so on.This paper designs a kind of protocol stack model which connects the MAC layer and the network layer,establishes a direct information channel to ensure the information is fast and accurate and saves energy.Designed a algorithm PCSC which on the basis of the design of a combination of the MAC layer power mechanism and network layer routing algorithm.When the network is connected and transmitted,it can choose the most appropriate node power to improve the network performance.Secondly,for the problem of conflict or delay and other issues caused by the low channel utilization rate,on time demanding network generally do not use such as single channel transmission and low utilization rate of the channel strategy,therefore,this paper designs a dual-channel strategy for node transmission,that is,the existence of data channel and control channel,the two kinds of information transmission at the same time will not cause conflict and interference.Finally,using MATLAB simulation tool to simulate the PCSC algorithm.And test results show that compared with other clustering algorithms,the PCSC algorithm can effectively improve the network throughput,saving network energy and prolong the network lifetime.
