As is known to all,with the progress of science and technology,image processing is more and more concerned by many scholars.Image matching technology,as one of the important researches in image processing and computer vision,has a wide range of applications in various aspects,such as stereo vision,change detection,remote sensing image,target recognition,tracking and so on.But the traditional matching methods,such as gray scale image matching and feature image matching,have their own disadvantages which cause that the precision and speed are not unified.Therefore,aiming at shortcomings of image matching technology,an effective improvement method is put forward in this paper.In the same time,its application in power patrol fault detection is come up with.The concrete research content is as follows:First of all,the defects of the artificial swarm algorithm are analyzed and improved.Optimal guidance and adaptive correction rate are applied to the artificial bee colony algorithm.So adaptive guidance artificial bee colony algorithm is put forward.When algorithm leading bee colony moving in the direction of the optimal solution,variation degree of bees position is adaptively changed.Thus,the convergence speed is improved.At the same time,the standard test functions are widely used in the experiment,and perfect consequence are reached.Second,in view of the speed and accuracy of image matching technology can't be satisfied at the same time,the gray matching algorithm and SIFT feature matching algorithm are combined.Thus,image matching method based on cursory search and detail-oriented correction according to extension window is proposed.Part of coarse search is achieved by using adaptive optimal guidance artificial colony algorithm instead of the traditional gray matching algorithm ergodicity.Grey correlation degree with statistical properties is used for the fitness function of artificial bee colony algorithm.Fine correction is achieved by the extension rules cutting image window and SIFT algorithm accurately matching feature points.The matching method from coarse to fine not only retain the quickness of the combination of grey correlation and artificial bee colony algorithm in the coarse search algorithm,but also achieve the accuracy of the combination of extensive window and SIFT algorithm.Finally,image matching method based on cursory search and detail-oriented correction according to extension window is applied to electric power patrol fault detection.After analyzing the common faults of the power line and the characteristics of infrared image,electric power line infrared images fault detection from different angles are conducted by using to combination of image matching method based on cursory search and detail-oriented correction according to extension window and the characteristics of good noise resistance on infrared images.
