Software Design And Realization Of A Certain Radar

Airport runways often have a variety of foreign object debris (FOD), including the tools or debris left behind the aircraft, stones, plastic products and so on. These airport foreign object debris are a serious threat to the safety of aircraft and passengers,the detection of these foreign object debris is the urgent needs to ensure the safety of aircraft to take off. In response to this requirement, we have developed a FOD detection radar with the support of a project.This paper focuses on the software design and implementation of the radar. The main work of this paper is as follows:(1) The lower computer software of the FOD detection radar is designed and implemented. The lower computer software is programmed in ADSP TS20X chip with Visual DSP++. The main function modules realized in the lower computer include: data receiving module (link port), digital signal processing module (FFT and windowing),threshold detection module, mode detection module and image quantization module,data storage and sending module. In this paper, the detailed design process and core code of each key module of the lower computer software are given, and some test results are given.(2) On the basis of the above design, the thesis further designs and realizes the human-computer software of FOD detection radar. First of all, the general frame of the host computer software is designed, and then the collaboration process between the host computer software and the lower machine software is further designed, including the host computer boot process, serial connection process, the host computer sends a work instruction flow. Then the host computer software is designed and implemented. The main modules in the host computer software include serial communication module, data processing module (including real-time target data processing and graphic data processing), interface display module (including parameter setting module and drawing module).Finally, the software system was jointly tested. The system has been actually used for detecting foreign object debris on the airport runway.
