As a new type of trade in China's exports,cross-border electronic commerce is expected to become the new growth momentum of China's trade even the whole economy of the country.As a mature cross-border electricity business platform,eBay plays a pivotal role in the process of selling our goods to foreign countries.In recent years,as more and more Chinese sellers sell their products on eBay,it can be said that Chinese sellers have become the leader in eBay sellers.At the same time,Chinese sellers are facing increasing pressure of competition.Listing as the source of eBay orders,there's no doubt how to optimize the listing to get more sales has become a compulsory course for each Chinese eBay seller.Although there are many factors that can affect listing,will there be a different effect if we can catch some main factors?However,there's almost no article that research on eBay listing optimization in our country.This paper attempts to break this deadlock to provide some reference and support for many eBay sellers' listing optimization.In this paper,through the study and analysis of positive rate,price,listing time,listing quantity,listing catalog and competitors for the impact of eBay orders,we could determine the effectiveness of the listing optimization based on the change in the order quantity and draw the following conclusion,(1)The increase in positive rate and sales are positive correlation.(2)Using both the Markdown Manager and Promotions tools is not better than using only one of the tools,and using fixed price is not better than using dynamic pricing.(3)Sales advantage is more obvious when choosing to list product from 10am to 6pm based on United States Weekend time.(4)The growth of sales becomes stable when the quantity of new listing is 7 to 8.(5)There is a significant difference in the sales between different categories,then reasonable allocation of listing can be made according to the difference profit in different categories.(6)We need to pay attention to procurement,product quality,infringement,price and other related issues when following other sellers' listings.
