Research On Video Compression Method Based On Background Extraction In Fixed Scene

Video surveillance is now used in various places.The online video image transmission and storage requirements are also increasing,which requires less storage space and less bandwidth,also requires more clarity,this puts forward higher requirements for video coding and decoding.Now,high quality video coding is concerned by many people.The promotin space of the video encoding is still very large,in the current video compression encoding method,H.264 and AVS encoding method is widely used,but there are still a lot of promotion space According to the requirements and characteristics of video codec.This paper analyzes the problems existing in the current video compression coding,and puts forward some corresponding improvements:1.Based on the existing background modeling algorithm,This paper presented a background modeling method based on pixel statistics,By counting the appearance of pixels,determine the background pixel value to achieve the establishment of the background image,set the picture as a background reference frame.2.In the traditional surveillance video images,there will be a large part of the static image,and we focus on the moving parts of the image.In order to ensure a higher image quality in the case of smaller consumption stream.In this paper,a method of separate coding transmission of still images and moving images is proposed.Still image coding uses skip coding mode,and add the picture which is generate by the background model as a reference frame.The motion image uses the motion macro block to focus on coding and the simple coding method of the static macroblock.3.In order to improve the performance of the encoder,the implementation method of the traditional macroblock filter is changed,that is,the boundary strength is not determined by the cycle again.4.A modified H.264 coding method for monitoring system is realized by modifying part of the X264 code,so that it can be achieved before the improved H.264 coding method.Finally,the paper using LIVE555 and FFMPEG,VLC and other open source libraries to assist in the preparation of a complete real-time video surveillance system.
