With the rAPId development of the Internet and the emergence of new services,such as the integration of telecommunications networks,cable TV networks and the Internet,cloud computing and big data and so on,the rigid problem of the traditional network architecture comes more and more obvious.And it can not meet the needs of the current Internet service.The software definition of network SDN and network virtualization technology can effectively solve this problem.The conception of SDN is to separate the control plane from the data plane so that they can develop independently.The idea of Network virtualization is abstracting the underlying physical network resources,so that many independent virtual networks can be deployed above the same physical network,but not affecting eacher other.SDN can effectively solve the current problem of network architecture,and network virtualization technology can improve the utilization rate of network resources.Thus,it's more convenient and easy for Internet operators to run the Internet.Resource abstraction in SDN is very similar to centralized control and entire virtual network in charge of software in network virtualization technology in some way.In SDN network,it is easier to realize network virtualization,and the most suitable applying area is data center netwok virtualization applications.So the combination of network virtualization and SDN is a very good choice to fit the emerging network services.ONOS is now one of the most popular SDN controllers,and also a controller in behalf of operators.This thesis' s platform is ONOS1.3,and it's a trend for ONOS to support network virtualization.This thesis aims at the design and implemention of virtual network embedding in SDN,the main content is as follows.Firstly,after studyding the current situation of virtual network embedding algorithms and analyzing their advantas and disadvantages in detial,this thesis proposes virtual network embedding algorithm based on local topology awareness taking local topology into account during nodes embedding phrase instead of the whole topology of the network.It effectively improves the virtual network embedding request acception rate and the underlying physical network average revenue.Secondly,based on adequate study of architecture and distributing performance of ONOS1.3,this thesis completes the design and implemention of virtual network embedding system in ONOS1.3,and implements virtual network embedding algorithm based on local topology awareness in the system.It completes the elementay combination of SDN and virtual network embedding in ONOS.Besides,the system reserves the interfaces inorder to extend the system to a full virtual network system.And all the interfaces work well through tests and validations,and the system works well.
