Network virtualization,as an important supporting technology for heterogeneous network convergence,has gained more and more attention and research extensively.It divides and consolidates the infrastructure network resources so that multiple virtual networks can share simultaneously the same physical network to support the development,test and deployment of new network protocols and applications.Virtual network resource embedding is an important part of network virtualization,which aims to achieve optimal match of resources between physical network and virtual network to ensure that relatively independent virtual network can support correctly the application and operation of data services.The economic benefits of network operators and the service experience of end users are directly related to the survivability of virtual network.In order to enhance the survivability of virtual network,the following three aspects from the perspective of resource embedding are studied:(1)A multipath routing algorithm for virtual networks based on effective bandwidth is proposed.The algorithm introduces the effective bandwidth model based on the traffic arrival process to the virtual network link resource mapping,and constructs the multi-path set of the link according to the reliability attributes of the link to improve the reliability of link supporting services.Simulation results show that the proposed algorithm has certain advantages in balancing network load,improving network throughput and virtual network stability.(2)A embedding mechanism enhancing survivability of virtual network based on divide-andconquer strategy.In the mechanism,the huge physical network is partitioned into several subnets according to the actual network management and control requirements,and the shared resource pool is adjusted and optimized in combination with the historical fault data to simplify the complexity of remapping about virtual network.At the same time,the physical units with high recoverability are selected to respond to the virtual network embedding request based on the network topology and the network element elements.Finally,the resource similarity model and measurement mechanism are established by using the resource attributes such as processing ability,reliability constraint and geographical location to improve embedding success rate of virtual network.Simulation results show that the mechanism can effectively improve the flexible space of virtual network request,and has significant effect on improving virtual network acceptance and survivability.(3)A virtual network authentication system with load balancing as the optimization goal is designed and implemented.In the system,VTN is responsible for receiving service requests and consolidating them into virtual network requests,the Controller is responsible for creating and mapping virtual networks based on VTN requests,and the OpenFlow switch is responsible for providing physical support.Test results show that the system can be used as a small virtual network tuning system.In the end,the conclusions are given and the next research work is presented.
