In practical, switched systems can describe many actual systems.A lot of real systems case a great deviation if which is modeled as a switched system. It has widely found that real systems simultaneously with pulse and switching changes are applied in many engineering and scientific fields.Based on the switched system, scholars develop the impulsive switched system theory, and impulsive switched system is a significant branch of switched system. However, the problem of fault detection in nonlinear impulsive switched system is still in the early stage of development. Therefore this problem has attracted a wide attention. This thesis deals with the problem of fault detection for discrete-time nonlinear impulsive switched systems. The main contributions are as follows.First of all,the problem of robust fault detection for discrete-time nonlinear impulsive switched systems is studied.A fault detection filter is used as the residual generator. We design a switching signal based on an average dwell-time method and a multiply Lyapunov functions method to guarantee the considered systems is stable. The problem of robust fault detection is converted into an H?-filtering problem.A sufficient condition for solvability of this problem is established by a convex optimization problem, and a numerical example is provided to demonstrate the effectiveness of the proposed method.Secondly,we use another method to solve the same problem.Attention is concerned with the problem of the fault detection filter design for nonlinear discrete-time impulsive switched systems. The weighted l2 performance and the H_performance are first given. Then, one of the widely adopted approaches is to select an appropriate threshold and an appropriate residual evaluation function.Subsequently, the occurrence of faults can be detected by comparing between the residual evaluation function and the threshold.
