In the atmospheric channel,the laser is affected by the atmospheric turbulence,resulting in the wavefront phase distortion of the laser due to the atmospheric refractive index fluctuations.The adaptive optics system can effectively overcome the wavefront distortion caused by atmospheric turbulence and has been widely used in geological remote sensing,foundation astronomy,medical imaging and other aspects.The adaptive optics can detect and correct the wavefront distortion in real time.The modal algorithm has great advantages in analyzing and reconstructing the wavefront distortion.This paper mainly studies the distortion wavefront processing technology based on the modal algorithm.The main purpose of the research is to improve the closed-loop control bandwidth of the adaptive optical system under the premise of ensuring that the wavefront correction residual is less than ?/ 4.The main research contents of this paper is the design and implementation of wavefront processor based on Zernike modal algorithm.According to the main task of wavefront processor,the software flow of wavefront processor is designed.The wavefront reconstruction and correction algorithm based on Zernike modal algorithm is analyzed and simulated,and the software of wavefront processor is finally finished.The hardware circuit of the wavefront processor is designed and the debugging and verification of the circuit are completed.In this paper,the research methods that combined with theoretical research,simulation analysis,experimental verification and other methods,carried out the work of distortion wavefront processing technology.The software uses the modular design,carries on the corresponding theoretical analysis and the system simulation to each sub module.On the basis of the theoretical research,this paper designs the overall scheme of the adaptive optics system,and verifies the whole adaptive optics system by designing the hardware and software modules.When the hardware circuit and the software module can work normally,this paper builds an experimental platform to measure the parameters of the wavefront corrector and introduce it into the wavefront processor to complete the closed-loop control of the adaptive optical system.The function and performance verification of the adaptive optical system based on the Zernike modal algorithm are carried out,the experimental results show that the adaptive optics system based on Zernike modal algorithm is feasible and effective.The adaptive optics system is designed to meet the development requirements.Under the experimental verification conditions,the system has the wavefront correction residuals less than ?/ 4 at bandwidth of 30 Hz.
