This paper mainly introduces the method of arbitrary polyhedral meshes spline surface design based on the theory and methods used for a given algorithm flow and algorithm in detail. For the grid data, analysis of different storage methods for stor-ing the actual situation and running efficiency and other factors, put forward to use the data storage based on the structure of edge. After the support set for solving the proposed pseudo convex hull, and then use the double word list, the nonzero ele-ments of the large sparse matrix storage standard, column, and the element values,then the calculation results. The parametric solution of triangulation, and mapped on the spherical surface to achieve, spherical parameterization, and according to the set of support, will calculate the spline function required by 3D coordinate transfor-mation, spherical coordinates to the corresponding point cut a conversion plane, In order to realize the calculation of the spline surface on the closed mesh, the surface reconstruction is carried out according to the control point set and spline set.
