With the rapid development of the Internet,more and more information is transmitted over the Internet,which provides a lot of convenience for people's lives,at the same time,security issues in the process of information transmission has become increasingly prominent.Information hiding technology ensures the safe transmission of information by hiding secret data into public multimedia carriers.In recent years,it attracts wide attention from scholars in information security field.Based on this background,this paper mainly studies the reversible data hiding technology based on image.The technology is designed to protect secret information while keeping the cover image free from being destroyed by embedding secret data,it can correctly extract the secret data and recover the cover image without distortion,therefore,it plays an important role in military,remote sensing,medical and other fieldsfileds that sensitive to image distortion.This paper focuses on the research of reversible data hiding schemes based on pixel value ordering(PVO),and proposes two new reversible data hiding schemes that are more flexible,more adaptive,and have great performance.The main work can be summarized as follows:Firstly,a generalized PVO-K reversible data hiding scheme is proposed,which aims at making better use of the embedding unit with the same maximum/minimum pixel values,so that the embedding capacity of secret data can be greatly enhanced.In addition,the algorithm proposed a suitable processing scheme for two kinds of special embedding units,and carried out the multilevel embedding analysis.Secondly,this paper proposes a generalized reversible information hiding algorithm based on quad-tree and pixel value ordering.The scheme designs a flexible dynamic partitioning scheme based on quad-tree,which makes full use of the features of the and dynamically select the appropriate block size to embed the secret data,it has strong flexibility and adaptability.Experimental results show that the proposed two schemes have good performance in flexibility,adaptability,embedding capacity and image quality.
