With the development of communication technology,underwater acoustic communication network is widely applied in the deep-ocean exploitation and national defense military activities.Underwater acoustic communication network is composed by a large number of network nodes that deployed in the target area.The exchange and processing information between the network nodes in the network coverage area take the advantages of time and space to realize the wide area information monitoring.Underwater acoustic communication network can receive data,and exchange information in real time,it fused surface and underwater information to the integrated information network.Underwater acoustic Modem is the necessary equipment and core part for the whole of underwater acoustic communication network in charge of underwater network nodes communication.To a large extent,the underwater acoustic Modem determines the operational efficiency,overall power consumption and deployment of the underwater acoustic communication network.This paper designed a new underwater acoustic Modem signal processing module on basis of which precede relevant software design and algorithm implementation.Underwater acoustic Modem implementation network protocols scheme is elaborated and verified Modem performance after multiple trials.This paper made works as follows:First of all,the basic principle of MFSK is introduced,the underwater acoustic communication scheme is determined.From the perspective of the system hardware design,the paper introduces the master control module,DSP processing module,FPGA module chip selection and interface design etc.In addition,a variety of communication and on duty methods are designed for different complex environment with low power consumption characteristics.And then software design and algorithm study is conducted on the basis of system hardware platform.Mainly introduces Hadamard-Walsh transform(FWT algorithm)in the realization of the FPGA and verify the feasibility of FWT algorithm through the software simulation.Finally,structure and performance parameters of the underwater acoustic Modem are elaborated,networking protocol implementation scheme is also given.Lake and sea trial results have power consumption and high reliability performance of the system that can meet the technical specification requirements.Through the standard RS-232 communication interface,the communication system can make real-time data transmission between PC and under water equipments.
