As an important branch of information hiding technology,digital image steganography technology has become increasingly prominent in modern society.Using digital image as a carrier,image steganography would embed the secret information that need to pass by imperceptible manner.Then the stego-image goes through an open channel for transmission and make covert passing secret information come true.Digital image steganography technology is an important part of covert communication so that the field of military,diplomatic and trade put forward higher requirements for its practical application.For the common spatial domain image steganography,though it has strong safety,that is often at the expense of steganographic capacity for the price.At the same time,transform domain steganography,which has a stronger robustness,but the capacity of steganography is smaller,can't meet the actual application requirements.Therefore,studying the spatial and transform domain steganography,solving its small capacity problem,seeking a compromise between enhancing steganographic capacity and improving the quality of stego-image has a very important significance and application prospects.The main work of this paper is to focus on how to improve their capacity in the existing steganography,based on the stego-image while maintaining image quality and consistency with the carrier-image.This paper analyzes the existing steganography research situation,presents several steganography judging indicators and introduces several common spatial domain,transform domain and other types image steganography methods in detail,as well as several common steganalysis algorithms.The article analyses and researches the existing problems of image steganography methods which bases on the spatial and transform domain algorithms.Based on that,this article proposes two adaptive image steganography algorithms to solve the existing algorithms steganography low capacity issues,and to ensure the accuracy of stego-image quality by using the image bit-plane features and human visual weight.Finally,the article gives a detailed simulation experiments and comparative experiments to the steganography before and after improvement from the steganographic capacity,stego-image quality and security.The results showed that the two improved algorithms can improve the hidden capacity while maintaining the same quality and features of secret image and vector image quality and ensure the safety of steganography.Though the image bit features and human visual weights used adaptive digital image steganography algorithms have advantages of good capacity and safety,they have higher computational complexity of the algorithm,which affect the application to the actual scene.Therefore,it will be an important goal of future research work to solve these problems and come up with a new and better steganographic algorithm.
