PhpBb-based BBS User Behavior Analysis For Promotion And User Stickiness

Open-source software has been fevored by more and more software developers,because of its low cost and it is easy to use.Released firstly in 2000,PhpBb has become the world's most widely used open source software fer BBS.However,in the process of its operation and promotion,the managers are often unable to knowledge about the user application of the BBS.This may not only have an effect on the evaluation of BBS's building effect,but it also go against to take effective measures to promote it.To solve the problem,the article mainly focus on the research of BBS based on PhpBb.In this paper,using research,case and descriptive statistics method,index of user behavior analysis,the acquisition,analysis and presentation of data about user behavior were reviewed.Finally,the program of user behavior analysis based on PhpBb for promotion and user stickiness were proposed by using the technology of data warehouse and data mining.This program mainly includes three aspects as following:The process and index of user behavior analysis based on PhpBb,the date collection,data analysis and its presentation about user behavior of PhpBb-based BBS.Finally,taking Chinese Culture BBS for an example and putting the program of user behavior analysis based on PhpBb into practice.And then according to the analysis results,combined with the current operating condition of the BBS,propose some corresponding suggestions.By introducing data warehouse and data mining to the practice work of user behavior analysis,a program of user behavior analysis based on PlpBb for promotion and user stickiness were proposed in this study,which not only provides guidance and reference for user behavior analysis about BBS,but also enriches its basic theories,methods and technology.
