VANET is composed of moving vehicles and road-side units,showing great research and application values,it can be widely applied in vehicles management,automatic transmission,security warning and electronic toll collections.The on-board units and road-side units in network cooperate together to route and deliver data packets.However,due to vehicles' high speed mobility and the frequently changing network topology,it poses a challenge to effectively and reliably communicate.To realize data packet delivery efficiently in VANET is urged to be solved.This thesis comes up with an effective and reliable method to solve the above communication problems,and mainly complete these work:introduce and analysize WAVE and IEEE 802.11p protocols,study and realize the key mudule of WAVE,design a routing method based on SDN,and finally testify its functionality and performance through simulation.The communication model based on WAVE and IEEE 802.11p is proposed to solve vehicle communication problems,which can better cope with the high mobility and frequent changing environment.This thesis firstly introduce the WAVE protocol and IEEE 802.11p standard in VANET,researches and analyzes the components and running scheme of WAVE model.Subsequently,this thesis introduces the communication scheme based on WSMP,designs and realizes a communication model based on Raspberry Pi hardware,supporting WAVE protocol and 3G-LTE standard.The chosen operating system Raspberry pi is Linux kernel 4.6 version,and the chosen 3G-LTE dongle is Huawei E3276.Based on the API provided by Linux kernel,this thesis design and realize the WSMP protocol.SDN shows better performance on network management.Based on the WAVE model,this thesis comes up with a network architecture,combining with 3G-LTE and SDN technologies,forming a heterogeneous network.The proposed network architecture can improve the routing capability through road side units working on SDN.The routing repairing scheme based on SDN can maintain better data packet delivery.Finally,the performance and functionality proposed in this thesis is test through simulation.Through combining 3G-LTE technology and IEEE 802.11p wireless technology,together with introducing SDN network architecture,and designs priority zones and black-hole zones in routing,the flexibly and programming ability can be improved,and the cost on packet routing is slower.The routing repairing scheme based on SDN can amend the network more efficiently,when the network lose connection with SDN central controllers,and make the routing cost under control,maintain a higher packet delivery.The simulation results shows that the communication scheme based on WAVE can better meet the VANET environment,applicable to high-speed mobility environment.The future research work is concluded as last.
