Geological engineering monitoring is an important way to prevent and manage geological disasters.With the rapid development of geotechnical engineering and distributed fiber optic sensing technology(DFOS),DFOS technology is widely used in geological engineering monitoring.But it produces a large amount of fiber monitoring data needs to be processed and analysis.Therefore,it is important to explore an effective analysis method for fiber optic monitoring data.Visualization in Scientific Computing(VISC)is a computer-based approach which is accurate,intuitive,fast,interactive,and distributed.On this paper,a 3D-visualization system of geotechnical fiber optic monitoring information is developed,and it's used to establish a visualization comprehensive model of geological engineering based on fiber optic monitoring information.3D-visualization model of pile and tunnel fiber optic monitoring information is realized.The contents and achievements are summarized as follows:(1)This paper analyzes the status quo of 3D modeling technology and its application in geological engineering,introduces the principle and characteristics of VISC,and expounds the importance of its application to the visualization of geological engineering fiber optic monitoring data.(2)According to the characteristics of fiber optic monitoring data,the 3D-visualization system of fiber optic monitoring information is designed.And the pre-processing methods,system development environment,implementation tools,and system frame are introduced.(3)The fiber optic monitoring data visualization module includes monitoring data pre-processing module and monitoring data visualization module.This paper mainly introduces the process of visualization of monitoring data,data gridding,spatial interpolation algorithm,interpolation point selection,comparison of interpolation methods and cloud drawing and mapping.Proposing and achieving a cloud drawing method based on rule gridding,spatial interpolation,and proximity point search.(4)The methods of structures are introduced.Realizing the stratigraphic modeling by Kriging interpolation and surface modeling method;using S-Rep method to realize the pile foundation modeling;establishing tunnel model by CSG method and B-Rep method.And these visualization models are demonstrated on computer.(5)Visualization comprehensive models of pile foundation and tunnel based on fiber optic monitoring information are established.According to the stratigraphic information and monitoring data,a comprehensive model of pile foundation is established,which makes the monitoring information in an intuitive way on the pile foundation.The tunnel visualization model of monitoring information is realized by using texture mapping method,and introducing the concrete realization step.(6)Taking Suzhou Metro Line 1 as an example,this paper establishes the visualization comprehensive model of fiber optic monitoring information of Suzhou Metro Line 1,and proves the feasibility and effectiveness of the research.The results has improved the visualization effect of geological engineering such as pile foundation and tunnel engineering.The related technologies and methods can be popularized in practice.
