Although the traditional technique of impedance matching can not realize fast and stablely dynamic load match,its load,in many industrial applications,including the plasma applications and microwave fluidizing drying,is dynamic,which calls for an intelligent system of impedance matching for rapid detection and matching of dynamic load.At present,such products have been developed in foreign countries,but not sold in the domestic market.Thus,after the author mak ing a research on a high-power microwave intelligent technique of impedance matching,modeling and simulating with the electromagnetism simulation software CST,and validating through establishing a test system,a simple impedance matching system has been initially built.This paper mainly studied the high-power microwave intelligent technique of impedance matching by means of simulation and experiments,which contains triple probe detection technology,three-pin tuned technology and a fast matching method.The author made mathematical derivation of the formulae used for the operating principles of triple probe detection and three-pin impedance tuner,establishing a test system to verify its fea sibility,among which the three-pin impedance tuner is emphatically researched.Through simulation and experiments,the optimum pin spacing with one-quarter of a guide wavelength was determined and tested.then the author analyzed the matching range of three-pin impedance tuner through simulation qualitative reasoning.Based on the above study,this article presents a method for fast matching by means of cascaded rule and look-up table,combined with detection technology and tuned technology,and introduces the process of intelligent impedance matching,and verifies the result with the matching system.At last,the paper introduces the photonic crystal waveguide by analyzing its working principle and model simulation,and studied how to realize impedance matching with photonic crystal waveguide,along with some factors influencing its adjustable range.The innovation of this paper is: First,analyzing the working principle of three-pin impedance tuner by cascaded rule;second,presenting a method for fast impedance matching through combining cascaded rule and look-up table;third,applying the structure of photonic crystal waveguide into impedance tuner to get a new one.
