The deception jammings come from forwarding of intercepted radar transmitted signal by modern jammer based on digital radio frequency memory(DRFM),which can result in false targets in radar receiver and subsequent process.Those will make the radar difficult to dectect the existence of true targets,and consume too many radar resources of radar system,particularly the hardware resources of signal processing,damage the normal work of radar and even make radar to face weapon attack.Therefore,theories and technologies concerning countermeasures to active deception jammings have became the research hotspot of many researchers.This paper focuses on suppression of active deception jamming,with waveform design as the support,mainly includes works as follows:1.Two types and five forms deception jammings produced by modern jammer based on DRFM are studied.Their detailed principles and mathematical expressions are given,and then based on simulation of jamming effects,their influcences on radar true targets detection are analysed.2.The waveform design method against range deception jammings based on phase-perturbed LFM is studied.By properly selecting parameter values in phase perturbation expression of pulses in the waveform set,the method decreases the autocorrelation peak sidelobe level of each waveform and the cross-correlation peak level of any two waveforms to a certain degree,which makes the waveform have a good effect on suppression of the three typical range jammings those are highly coherent with the radar transmitted waveform.3.The waveform design method against range deception jammings based on phase-coded is studied.For specified jamming form and parameters,by using descending dimension search to solve the optimization problem,the method adaptively designs the phase values of every chip of the phase-coded waveform,not only decreases the autocorrelation sidelobe level of each waveform in the waveform set,but also more targeted,simultaneously decreases the cross-correlation level between the transmitted waveform and the jamming waveform,then three typical range jammings can be suppressed by match filter.4.The waveform design method against velocity deception jamming based on slope-perturbed LFM is studied.Using the frequency modulation slope perturbation between pulses,the method realizes the enough difference between values of autocorrelation function and the cross-correlation function of the waveforms in the waveform stet at zero point,which makes the waveform have the ability to suppress the velocity deception jamming to a certain extent.5.The waveform design method against velocity deception jamming based on initial phase-perturbed LFM is studied.According to the prior knowledge of the jamming parameters,using the minimum jamming energy criterion in the suppression range of Doppler domain or the method based on Doppler spectrum template to design the initial phase sequences,the jamming energy after Doppler processing can be distributed in the area where no true targets exsit,which can highly improve the singal to jamming ratio near the targets,equally the powerful velocity deception jamming can be suppressed.
