As a high-power microwave amplifier device,traveling wave tube(TWT)is widely used in radar,satellite and other sophisticated areas of defense.Therefore,producing high-performance TWT more quickly and efficiently has strategic importance to the national defense.Nowadays,the limitation of production techniques and design cycle makes the production of TWT takes long production cycle and high cost,which further limits the widely used.In particular,as for the way of the TWT 2D drawings generation,vast majority of enterprises are still using handicraft article drawings.After designing a new good model,the engineers need to manually draw the 2D drawings corresponding to the 3D model,and mark its key size one by one.These processes inevitably contain a large number of repetitive,trivial work,which not only greatly reduce the efficiency of work,but also cost heaps of human resources.In order to solve these problems and improve the production efficiency,the automatic generation technique of 2D drawings is urgent needed.The main content of this paper is the secondary development of the UG software using C + +,at the same time,focusing on how to realize the automatic labeling components of TWT so as to achieve the purpose of automatic generation of 2D drawings.Integrating with the research results of the automatic labeling,this paper puts forward the automatic labeling theory based on the edge size of the model.Through the corresponding UG / OPEN API function creating the specified size drawings and importing the view information of the 3D model.After that getting its edge type and direction to classify and simply remove duplication.Next,marking the edge on the corresponding view.Finally,adding the frame and list to the drawing,and filling in the key information of the list automatically to get the complete 2D drawings at last.In this paper,it mainly use the advanced computer language to achieve automatically generating engineering drawings,most of users may not easily operate it.In order to facilitate the use of the results,this article defines pseudo code that consits of specific English keywords and digital information,which is understandable and easily running.Achieving the automatic generation of the drawings by reading the file made up by the pseudo-code,the user should only need to write the corresponding pseudo code file to realize the specified function,which is more than flexible.Finally,this paper analyzes the key dimensions of the non-grid electron gun components of the TWT,and simulates it by MTSS obtaining the size error range which has little effect on the structural performance.
