Massive MIMO is one of the most promising key technologies in the fifth generation of mobile communication systems. Compared to the traditional multiple input multiple output (MIMO), it has many advantages, such as high transfer rate,energy efficiency and spectral efficiency, and it has become a hotspot of the field of wireless communications. Massive MIMO technology can improve system performance without extra bandwidth and power consumption. It can serve more users on the same frequency resources and possess lower power improvements increase system hardware costs. For large-scale MIMO systems, hybrid precoding is an effective technique to reduce hardware cost. In addition, this paper will study the differential modulation technology to reduce the computational complexity of the receiver.In this paper, based on large-scale MIMO system model, we study the differential spatial modulation in the context of the channel state information is known to the transmitter. Firstly, the basic principles of SM and DSM are studied in the second chapter, the system model is described in detail, the transmission process and detection process are studied, and the simulation and performance comparison are presented.In the third chapter, based on PSM and the idea of precoding aided differential spatial modulation (PDSM), the complexity of the system detection at the receiver will be simplified. And the channel information can keep unknown to the receiver whilst the estimation of power normalization factor is needless. Therefore, based on this,PDSM will be extended to a multi-user form that has a broader use.In the fourth chapter, we study the PDSM under large scale MIMO, by adding the hybrid precoding scheme, greatly reduces the system's demand for the number of RF chains at the transmitter. It also breaks the limitation of hardware cost in actual application, which provides an important help for the application of this system. In addition, this paper also studies the PDSM multi-user extension system under the large scale MIMO, so that the multi-user scheme can be better applied.
