With continuous development of synthetic aperture radar(SAR)technology,it has been widely used in military,agriculture,terrain mapping and many other areas.But the common SAR radar system is complex and expensive,its larger volume and weight can not be used in some specific applications.The micro SAR system based on linear frequency modulation continuous wave(FMCW)technology has the characteristics of traditional SAR high-resolution imaging,but with low cost,low power consumption,small size,light weight and other advantages.Therefore,the micro-SAR hardware system which is suitable for small-scale unmanned aerial vehicles and other platforms has great significance and important practical value.This thesis described a miniature SAR hardware system based on the Zynq platform.Zynq is a fully programmable Soc hardware platform with integrated ARM and FPGA.The platform is designed and implemented in the same way as the design and implementation of micro SAR hardware system which is easy to implement modular,small and low power design;the “ARM+FPGA” structure,which greatly reduces the designing complexity,improves system integration and stability;At the same time,Xilinx provides a powerful development tool chain IP core and other resources,which greatly reduces the difficulty of development.From scene experiment,the results are good and meet the project requirements.The contents include the following aspects:1.Describe the theoretical basis of micro SAR hardware system: Analyze the frequency modulation continuous wave(FMCW),Dechrip processing and digital downconversion theory(DDC);2.Analyze the main parameters of the micro SAR system and the design of the system.The modules of the system are analyzed in detail,and the design scheme of the receiver,transmitter and data acquisition module is described.3.The Zynq platform peripheral circuit: including power supply,DDR,Ethernet,storage,and based on Zynq programmable logic part(PL)to complete the digital down(DDC)system module etc.;analyze the CORDIC algorithm(CIC)and half-band filtering principle and its realization.The digital orthogonal mixing,filtering and decimation of the input signal are realized by DDC processing,and analyze the low-speed orthogonal baseband signal.4.Configure the Zynq platform processor part(PS)and programmable logic part(PL)with Vivado which is Xilinx’s development tool and complete the system hardware integration;5.Finally,verify the main module and complete the scene experiment.
