Due to the fact that technology of underwater vehicles simulation is a comprehensive subject relating to many fields,the structure of the simulation system is very complex.As the core of underwater vehicle simulator,underwater vehicle simulation technology has great application value.This paper mainly studies the modeling and simulation of a typical underwater vehicle and the simulation system development.The underwater vehicles hydrodynamic model is according to Object Oriented ideas and superposition principle.Based on some hypothesis and many semi-rational formulas,calculating the matrix of Added Mass,derivatives of velocity,derivatives of acceleration and interference coefficients.The hydrodynamic of underwater vehicle hull,elevator and horizontal fins were calculated according to the above data and the principle of superposition and interference coefficient correction coefficient,finally created a submersible hydrodynamic model.This paper also presents a kind of auxiliary control mechanism based on some small pump jet thrusters,and establishes a typical PID control system and the corresponding mathematical model.Using OSG,OSGOcean advanced graphics library to establish an open water environment view.In the aspect of 3D modeling,We used 3D Max polygon modeling function creats a underwater 3D model,and rendered the model with 3D Max texture function.Water scene mainly rely on OSGOcean.Finally in VS2010 programming environment,using Object Oriented ideas,create a visual simulation system,which can be applied to a variety of underwater vehicles without significant modifications.
